NFIB Hosted Live Teleforum

Washington, DC (October
13, 2015)
– This afternoon, the National Federation of Independent
Business
hosted a teleforum call with Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) for
members in his state. Business owners asked questions related to the Senator’s
stance on issues they care about, including permanency for small business
expensing, rising health care costs, and ever-expanding federal regulations.

“We’re very grateful to Senator Thune for taking the time to
directly answer our members’ questions,” said Jordan Forbes, NFIB Manager of
Legislative Affairs.
“South Dakota small business owners are very concerned
about federal taxes and regulations that make it hard for them to prosper and
grow. Today, they heard that the Senator is working hard to create sensible tax
policies like permanent Section 179 expensing and fight onerous regulations
like the new EPA Waters of the U.S. rule.”

Audio of the call
will be available in the next few days at https://www.nfib.com/advocacy/teleforums/.
