Washington, D.C. (October 20, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB)
, the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Rep. Bob
Dold (IL-10)
for re-election. Dold has a strong record of supporting
legislation that would help small businesses and should be returned to the U.S.
House of Representatives.

“Bob Dold stands with small business owners in
Illinois and deserves to be re-elected,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He has been
working to reduce red tape, lower health insurance costs, and provide tax
relief for small businesses. The NFIB is proud to endorse a small business
owner who knows what needs to be done to encourage growth and prosperity.”

“As the only small business owner in this
race, I know how critical the small business community is to the economic
health of our nation,” said Dold. “Small businesses are the driver of job
growth, cutting-edge innovation, and local development.  I’m honored to
have the endorsement of NFIB for my record of supporting small business and I
will continue to be a champion in the next Congress.”

Dold qualified for an endorsement from the
NFIB by achieving a high rating on votes scored in the current Congress. The
list of the votes is available here.

Dold’s endorsement today comes from the
NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.  Small
business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities.
