Washington, D.C. (October 24, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Brian Mast
for Florida’s 18th Congressional
District. Mast’s commitment to issues that small business owners care about
makes him an ideal candidate for Congress.
“Brian Mast is committed to being a strong
voice for Florida small business owners,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He knows that
taxes, regulations, and the expense of health care are holding back small
business. NFIB members want to see him in the U.S. House next year once again
serving his country.”
“I am honored that the National
Federation of Independent Businesses endorsed me for Congress,” said Mast. “They
understand that it is imperative we get government out of the way in order to make
small businesses grow, which comprise almost 70% of our economy. I’m looking
forward to representing NFIB, and small businesses everywhere, in Congress.”
Mast’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB
SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee. Small business
owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities. NFIB members in Florida’s 18th Congressional
District will work hard to send Brian Mast to Congress.
